Welcome to Frankfurt and the Taunus

The British Cub of the Taunus continues to grow and adapt to the needs of our long-standing members and our new members by offering them a ‘home away from home’.

With our main purpose of bringing people together, we now have over hundred and fifty members throughout the Taunus and Frankfurt. In this lies a great deal of experience, which enables us to support each other by helping new members and their families settle in and familiarise with German customs and traditions. We offer a means to network and socialise with other English speakers through many activities on offer each month.

Members are given the chance to attend, host and participate in a wide range of club activities and events, join our sister club, Mothers' Corner, and vote at our Ordinary General Meeting.  Members also receive our monthly magazine, the BCT News, and the annual membership directory. The BCT News magazine is very popular amongst our membership and is packed with articles written by our members, as well as useful information, including sightseeing tips, children and family activities, a fantastic ‘what’s on guide’ and, of course, the regular club events and activities guide.

We continue to pride ourselves in the fact we give back to the communities that have welcomed and supported us throughout the years through our fundraising and volunteering efforts throughout the year.

The BCT cannot exist without its members volunteering to sit on the committee, organise club activities, help with the monthly magazine or volunteer with the yearly fundraising. The committee and I would like to thank everyone for their support and dedication to the club, without which, we would not be able support new and established members in the area.
